Margaux is a creative designer and emerging architect driven by a curiosity about the intimate relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. Pursuing her undergraduate degree at the Christopher C. Gibbs College of Architecture, she brings an internationally influenced perspective shaped by a global education, fluency in French, English, and Spanish, and her studies abroad in Rome during the Spring 2026 semester. Her practice is grounded in the belief that architecture extends beyond the physical, exploring how intention, emotion, and space shape the human experience.
Margaux approaches design by asking why. She looks deeply at how atmosphere, materiality, light, sound, and spatial relationships can influence mood, memory, comfort, and connection. She is particularly drawn to residential architecture for its deeply personal nature and its ability to foster belonging, intimacy, and the memories that become intertwined with everyday life. Through observation and curiosity, she seeks to understand the subtle ways people experience their environments, designing spaces that invite feeling, evoke nostalgia, encourage curiosity, and ultimately make people feel at home. Her work is rooted in the belief that architecture has the power to soothe or unsettle, to shape how we feel and how we live, and that such influence deserves to be approached with intention and care.
